يكتشف المصريون يومياً آثاراً تفصح عن مكنون حضارة عظيمة ضربت بجذورها في عمق التاريخ ، شاهدة على مجد أمة صنعت تاريخاً يشار له بالبنان.فقد صرح الدكتور مصطفى وزيري الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للآثار في مصر، أن البعثة المصرية المشتركة بين المجلس الأعلى للآثار ومركز زاهي حواس للمصريات بمكتبة الإسكندرية والتى تعمل في منطقة آثار سقارة بجوار هرم الملك تتي أول ملوك الأسرة السادسة من الدولة القديمة، توصلت إلى اكتشافات أثرية مهمة تعود إلى الدولة القديمة والحديثة والعصور المتأخرة . وقال الدكتور زاهى حواس عالم الآثار المصرية ورئيس البعثة، إن هذه الاكتشافات سوف تعيد كتابة تاريخ هذه المنطقة وخاصة خلال الأسرتين 18 و19 من الدولة الحديثة، وهي الفترة التى عُبد فيها الملك تتي وكان يتم الدفن في ذلك الوقت حول هرمه.وأكد حواس أن البعثة عثرت على المعبد الجنائزى الخاص بالملكة نعرت زوجة الملك تتي، والذى تم الكشف عن جزء منه فى الأعوام السابقة للبعثة، مشيرا إلى أن البعثة عثرت أيضاً على تخطيط المعبد، بالإضافة إلى ثلاث مخازن مبنية من الطوب اللبن فى الناحية الجنوبية الشرقية منه، لتخزين القرابين, Egyptians discover relics that reveal the whereabouts of a great civilization that has struck its roots deep in history, witnessing the glory of a nation that made a history referred to by Lebanon.
